February 20, 2017, Bestlink College of the Philippines have their camping in Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. But this camping that supposed to be happy turned into tragedy.
According to ABSCBN news report that i watched, it was around 8am in the morning when the accident happened. The bus lost it brake, one survivor even said that they smelled a burning tire before the accident happened. 15 people are dead including the driver and 40 students were injured. Before i react to this trending news, i would like to say condolence to all the families and friends that lost their love ones, people here in Tanay was really sad about what happened.
I was on my way home from school when the trycicle passed by on this funeral in Aldea street, I thought there’s a taping cause its full of camera mans from ABSCBN, i was even trying to look if there’s a celebrity. But when i got home, i heard to the news that there’s an accident.
The driver lost his brake and had no choice but to bump the bus into an electric post along a curved road in Magnetic Hill Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal. Because if he didnt, there’s a high possibility that the bus will fall off in the cliff. Since its a magnetic road, your speed will increase. One time we passed by that magnetic road and even tried to stopped our car expecting it to move alone and yes, it moved, so its really dangerous specially for people who does’nt live in Tanay that may park their car there.
For the victims, I know you’ve been through a lot and been traumatized from what happened but i really hope you’ll recover soon.
For the family of the victims, Condolence again to the families who lost their love ones. Losing someone you really love is the most painful in the world.
For all the bestlink’s teachers, students, personnel, you’ll get through this, ignore all the hate and bad words people throwing about your school.
We are all shocked and sad for what is happened but always remember that God will not leave us. Just pray and everything will be alright, maybe not today but im sure soon.
